I was on the phone with my pal Greg one day lamenting about something I was struggling with and he said, "You are whatever you say you are until it doesn't happen". "Wow" I said, "can I use that line?" And Greg says "Sure, that's what you told me once" hahaha.

As soon as I got off the toilet (don't tell Greg that's where I was talking to him from) I wrote it down and it became the central idea for this song.
