After my divorce and selling the house I moved back in with my folks for a while to get my bearings. Like at other low points in my life I wrote in a journal now and then to try and exorcise the hurt and pain I was feeling.

Needless to say I was feeling down and love seemed elusive at best. This song started out as a note to myself- an attempt to counter the hopelessness with some kind of optimism that the love I was looking for was still out there.
